Welcome from the President
Welcome to the website of the Westchester
Jewish Conference. This site is designed to
be an information and communication tool for the
growing Westchester Jewish community, both
newcomers and long-time residents.
Since 1976, the Westchester Jewish Conference
has been in existence to help coordinate and
unify the Westchester Jewish community. We
currently have 131 member organizations and synagogues
that serve the growing Westchester Jewish
population of about 150,000 people.
Please visit the various
areas of this site to get a full sense of the
programs we coordinate or promote. Take special
note of the community calendar. The calendar is
designed to inform you of major upcoming events,
programs, lectures, etc., as well as help the
leadership of the community avoid conflicts in
scheduling future events.
